Classes

I offer several different types of classes:

• Parent Workshop - A class focused on giving parents the tools and skills to successfully use sign in their homes. This class meets one time for a few hours, with continued personal support available.
• Baby and Me - A fun way to spend time with your little one, age 1-3. We sing, play and read to learn signs that help these little ones communicate their thoughts and needs. We meet on a weekly basis for about an hour for 4 or 8 weeks. We are currently enrolling for a Friday Morning session to start in November. Tuition is $50 for a 4 week class and includes a set of corresponding Flashcards.
• After-School Fun - This class is geared towards children ages 4-12 years old. We meet once a week after school for 4 or 8 weeks. We learn American Sign Language for The Alphabet, Colors, Family, Feelings, Animals and much more through signing, playing and reading. Children will have a great time learning a second language.
• Signing with Stephanie in your child's pre-school or daycare center - I will visit your child's early learning center on a regular basis and help incorporate sign into his or her day. We gather as a group and learn new signs by singing and reading. Then, your child's teachers use a fully supportive curriculum to reinforce the signs we've learned together. Signing success can continue at home with song sheets showing our signs that are sent home with your child.
